			I had Jet Seal out to sealcoat our asphalt driveway this summer.  I ordered 2 coats of sealant since we had a new driveway and this was it's first time being sealed.  The technician called me the morning of the service to let me know he didn't think I needed the 2nd coat I ordered as the driveway had previously been sealed.  Looking back through my calendar, I noted that I had actually already had them out once since the driveway was replaced and had simply forgot with the events of last year.  It's hard to find honest contractors who also do excellent work.  The technician could of just did the 2 coats as ordered and over sealed the driveway.  Needless to say, I'll be using Jet Coat for all my future driveway needs.

			9/28/20:  Update:After an over hour long conversation with the owner, he's coming out to fix and fill the cracks and reseal the driveway.  I appreciated talking to him and his honesty regarding the situation.    He apologized and is willing to make this situation right and offered a few solutions.   They will be out today and after the reseal, I am confident our drive should look great!I had to type in one star but honestly, wouldn't even give this company that. Unfortunately, my experience was not good at all!!  Would never recommend this company.  Very disappointed with their work and how my neighbor and I were treated.   Because my neighbor and I share a small portion of driveway, he initiated the quote from Jet Seal (which was broken into two portions).  Quote was for one seal and filling in driveway cracks.  Perfect!  Unfortunately, when they finally came out to seal (they rescheduled three times) they did not fill in the smaller cracks appropriately on our driveway.  However, they did on my neighbors.  So I called the office to have a supervisor come out.  (In addition we had this company come out last year and although we had a miscommunication on a larger crack in our driveway they did fill in the rest of the smaller ones) Anyway, after talking to the gal that answers the phone in the office, she was extremely rude to both my neighbor and myself.  She went so far as to say that she was under the assumption that my neighbor was "speaking for us"  regarding our driveways and that he did not "authorize" my driveway cracks for repair.  Huh??? Really?  Then she went so far as to say she didn't even know I existed even though my name was on my portion of the quote, which was emailed.  So I caught her in a lie....then it get's better...she said she didn't know if my neighbor and I were boyfriend or girlfriend and that she thought he was taking care of our driveway.  Wow!! How completely unprofessional.  I can't believe something like that would come out someone's mouth.  Okay, so they come out today to fill in the cracks as I requested and this is what I got.  Look at how sloppy the work was done!  Take a look at the pictures and ask yourself, if you'd use them. I live on a very busy road and driveway is high profile and this is what I got!

How often should I seal coat my asphalt?

Every two to three years. Many factors must be considered including the amount of traffic and exposure to deteriorating elements. Too much sealer is detrimental. Sealer buildup will cause “mud cracking”, surface cracks throughout the pavement.

How much does asphalt sealing a parking lot cost?

It depends on the size of what we are sealing. Commercial parking lots range from small ones that are only 5-10 parking spaces to ones that have multiple hundreds. We adjust our costs according to the size of the lot and provide savings to those larger projects.

Will Jet-Seal match a competitor’s price?

We base our costs off of a variety of factors including the asphalt, sealer, fixing drainage, striping, labor, driving time, and more. Our costs will vary compared to other competitors as they may be buying from different asphalt plants or different binder. We will not match their costs as our

Does Jet-Seal offer group discounts?

How long should my asphalt last?

A properly installed, well maintained asphalt surface should last at least 20 years.The cost of replacing non-maintained asphalt costs seven times what it would cost to maintain the original asphalt. A properly maintained asphalt pavement will last up to three times longer than an unsealed pavement. This can amount to thousands of dollars, even for small parking lots or small driveways.

How long does asphalt sealcoat take to dry?

No rubber tire traffic (vehicles, bikes, trash cans, etc.) for a minimum of 24 hours. 2-3 days of no traffic would be preferred. Even though the surface will appear to be dry in 2-6 hours, opening this up for any traffic can ruin your parking lot. It is your responsibility after our crews leave your site to maintain all parameters or barricading after we leave.
