- Creekside Park. A beautiful five-acre park is the centerpiece of Olde Gahanna. Best known for its lovely waterfall, the park invites visitors to stroll the walkways, enjoy a nostalgic picnic, take a paddle boat ride, fish, or wade in the delightful water of the meandering Big Walnut Creek. It features shops restaurants and hosts a summertime jazz festival. It is truly a delightful gathering place.
- Ohio Herb Education Center. The place to go for herbal information; classes, books, supplies and answers to your questions about everything herbal related. A very knowledgeable staff makes this a must see for amateur cooks and gardeners as well. I highly recommend taking a class, you won’t be disappointed.
- Gahanna Woods State Nature Preserve. Founded in 1973 the nature preserve is a successful effort to save one of the last stands of woods in central Ohio. The preserve is both a nature lover and bird watcher’s paradise. You will find rare species of vegetation, including some of Ohio’s most exceptional wildflowers, and rarely seen wildlife. Consisting of more than 50 acres, the preserve offers plenty of scenic hiking trails and areas for picnicking
